Supervising Guidance Should Be Top Priority…Can’t Be in Two Places at Once

At a time when the Lodi BOE is trying give Frank Quatrone a $4,187.50 merit bonus to: “Restructure the Guidance Department at Lodi High School to increase the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the department,…”, it would probably be beneficial to have the Supervisor of Guidance pay more attention to his job at Lodi High School and less on his personal consulting businesses.

Because you can’t be in two places at once.

Should he be at Lodi High School when school is in session, or should he be somewhere else consulting/presenting?

The district calendar shows that September 18th is a school day.

The district calendar shows that October 17th is a school day.

And I am sure that Licata and Ciofalo will be at the center of the other   $4,187.50 merit bonus as well: “Increase professional development opportunities for all staff (certificated and non-certificated) by creating a local Professional Development Academy that will provide instructional and non-instructional training programs to Lodi staff at no expense to the Board of Education.”

It’s some coincidence that this goal emerged just as Ciofalo and Licata created their new "nonprofit".
