1) The Full 2% Raise: Despite having no college degree or the municipal
certifications held by other Borough Managers, Tony Luna still manages to be
paid amongst the highest in the area.
2) Still Using His Car for Personal Use: Despite saying at the October 2013 Executive
Meeting that Luna’s new contract would not allow for the personal use of a
borough vehicle, he still uses Lodi’s UNMARKED Ford Explorer for personal use
on a daily basis.
This administration was forced to change the wording
on his contract, but they are still gaming the system. When you see him at coffee shops, sporting
events, restaurants, and every other personal outing, take out your cell phone
and snap a picture of the vehicle YOU PAY FOR.
There has to be some form of accountability.
3) Addendum shows Luna is receiving a
lifetime benefit unique to him:
This administration checked off that he is receiving post-retirement medical
coverage that doesn’t apply to current retirees.
This administration put Tony Luna on a list with all
retired police officers. Luna does not
belong to the PBA and was not granted this lifetime benefit through collective
bargaining. He has not put in anywhere
near the number of years the police officers put in.
He did not earn nor does he deserve this entitlement
that is unique to him.
4) No Defined Work Week: He comes and goes as he pleases. He spends his assumed work days in coffee shops and joy riding.
