Matthew Giacobbe boasted at a Lodi BOE meeting that he had both a Democrat member of the legislature (Joseph Lagana) and a Republican (Sean Kean). I told Giacobbe that both his partners are bad for billing and selling influence.
In 2017, Nancy Cardone and Donald Scorzetti were running
mates for Lodi Board of Education.
During their first month on the Board in January 2018, Nancy Cardone voted
to hire Donald Scorzetti’s girlfriend in the most unfair process where not one
other external candidate could apply, and the internal candidates were not considered.
Nancy Cardone is on video where a discussion took place
prior to the vote disclosing the relationship, the conflict of interest, and
the unfair hiring process.
Yet, Nancy Cardone sent this sworn statement to the School
Ethics Commission.
Nancy Cardone managed Donald Scorzetti’s failed 2016 campaign.
Nancy Cardone ran as Donald Scorzetti’s running mate
in 2017.
Nancy Cardone is on video where the Scorzetti relationship
was discussed.
Yet, Nancy Cardone swore that she had no knowledge of
the relationship.
Someone as dishonest as Nancy Cardone should not be
serving on a Lodi Board of Education.

This isn't progress. This is the elimination of every small town New Jersey. And it's terrible for the environment, flooding , infrastructure, over crowded schools, etc.
It's wealthy developers buying off politicians.
Lodi wasn't being sued to meet affordable housing "obligations". Lodi's overdevelopment and disastrous "planning" was self-inflicted.
Vinny Martin sits on the Planning Board with Michael Apicella and put him up for Board of Education. Neither can be trusted on the Planning Board or anywhere else.
So, how many apartments has Michael Apicella and Vinny Martin approved and how many variances have they awarded to wealthy developers/campaign contributors?
Sad.

Nancy Cardone personally appointed her close personal friends and Board puppets to negotiate her son’s contract and the contracts of all her other family members employed by the Lodi Board of Education. The School Ethics commission found probable cause that Nancy Cardone committed ethics violations in doing so.
Nancy Cardone spent thousands of Lodi tax dollars on
an attorney, Rita Barone, to defend her only to admit guilt and be reprimanded by the State.

Nancy Cardone received a “reprimand” as the Cardone
family laughed all the way to the bank.
The “reprimand” did not undo Nancy Cardone’s corrupt negotiations.
The Lodi taxpayers continue to pay.
Nancy Cardone never apologized to the taxpayers of Lodi
after she admitted guilt to the State.
Nancy Cardone doesn’t apologize because she is arrogant in her
corruption. She believes that she can
receive enough votes no matter how awful she is by simply promising out jobs
and contracts to family and friends in her political organization. Nancy Cardone is mocking the voters of Lodi.
The FBI delivered subpoenas to the Palisades Park municipal building in 2013 seeking documents that included building records.
Michael Apicella purchased a home in Lodi in September 2014.
In less than 4 months from the purchase, Michael
Apicella was already appointed by the Lodi Mayor and Council to the Lodi
Planning Board. The same week of the appointment, Michael Apicella’s name appeared
in news reports for a subpoena that he received to appear before a federal
grand jury.

With all the overdevelopment and special variances
being awarded by Lodi Planning Board members like Michael Apicella to wealthy developers
and campaign contributors, the Lodi voters must demand answers.
Michael Apicella is the Tax Collector for Palisades Park. He continues to make annual campaign contributions to the Palisades Park Democratic Club. A few months ago, he had the Palisades Park Democratic Club make a campaign contribution to Mark Delmonaco for a local Lodi election. Why did Michael Apicella decide to move from Palisades Park to Lodi and why during that specific time period in 2014?
Will Sharon Salvacion be selling this seat for more or less than she sold her last seat?
Will the sale be taking place at a public auction or sold privately?
