Hackensack is not in Lagana’s district. The team opposing Labrosse had strong ties to the County Democrats.  What could have motivated Joseph Lagana to contribute $10,000 to the Labrosse Team?

Labrosse and his team made “Cleary Giacobbe” its City Attorney and Special Litigation Counsel.

Joseph Lagana used his campaign account in Hackensack just like he used it in East Brunswick, as a pay-to-play scheme where a law firm partner is making campaign contributions in return for public contracts without using his personal information and personal money.
