Link to the February 11, 2020 meeting minutes of the
Lodi Mayor & Council:
If
the Lodi Mayor & Council are going to “endorse” another tonnage increase for
Pinto, they should do it at a regular public meeting and inform all residents
of the Avenues. What
they did at their executive meeting upstairs in Caruso’s office was backroom
and cowardly.
Leaders looking out for the community would be
representing the residents’ quality of life concerns at any hearings before the
DEP and other government agencies.
Instead, the Lodi mayor and council are privately endorsing more garbage
for a residential neighborhood in backrooms.
