PRIDE believes the voters of Lodi are stupid. PRIDE believes Lodi voters are
incapable of understanding their own tax bills.
Carafa’s
council has raised your taxes more than the BOE while burying you in debt. It’s usually one or the other. When you add millions in debt, taxes should go
down or at the very least stay flat.
PRIDE managed to raise your taxes while borrowing for the most basic
expenses. Lodi’s debt is the size of a
year’s budget.
PRIDE posted a public notice showing that their introduced budget raises your municipal taxes 2.23%. They
postponed the final vote on the budget until a week after the Election which
means they are increasing your taxes even more.
At the same time they introduced a 2.23% tax increase,
they mailed out campaign flyers saying its 0%.
Once again, they blatantly lie to you because they believe you are
stupid.
Unless you are a member of PRIDE “family and friends”
and Lodi’s scandal plagued tax assessor George Reggo lowered your taxes “in
house” without an appeal being filed, your taxes are going up.
Unless you live in a $8,500,000 Saddle River home and
you pay Tony Luna to be your lobbyist, your taxes are going up.
Don’t
allow corrupt PRIDE candidates to play you for fools. You are smarter than them.
They lie about taxes.
They lie about residency. They
lie about fake accomplishments.
They lie during campaigns. They lie in office.
You pay a high price for their lies.
