Lodi “Children First” candidates have done the same thing when they accepted money from the campaign accounts of the Lodi mayor and council and from Joseph Lagana.  Those with contracts with the Lodi BOE are not allowed to contribute to BOE candidates.  However, those with contracts with the Lodi BOE have contributed to Lagana and the mayor and council who funnel money into board elections.
