For the past two years, readers of this blog saw that
Joe Licata provided false information on his block grant applications. Joe Licata used false statistics or outdated figures to show the Lodi schools performing worse than they actually were. As board president, he bragged about how great the schools were doing. At the same time, he was making the schools out to be the worst.

Last week, the Lodi Mayor and Council endorsed Joe
Licata’s applications.
Joe Licata could have provided the Mayor and Council with copies of the applications without the endorsing letters. What would he be uploading to the electronic
system? The Mayor and Council should have included those applications in these
Resolutions at the time they were approved.
