Every district is required to have a public
presentation on last year’s PARCC results within a certain time frame. I hear people from other towns discussing
power point presentations. I hear some
saying their meetings went on for hours.
I hear them discussing passing rates, sub-group performance, state
averages, etc.
At the October 25th meeting, Mr. Quatrone stated that Lodi had better scores than last year. Joe Licata
mumbled something. And the PARCC
discussion ended there.
Where
was the presentation?
What percentage of students “met expectations” at each
level? How did Lodi compare to the State?
I submitted an OPRA request but didn't get answers to either of those questions. I received less information than last year. Last year, the Board at least showed whether Lodi was above or below average at each level when compared to the State.
