“Performance in High School: Students’ performance in Lodi High School
shows that many young people need mentors to help them reach their
potential. The school met none of the six college and career
readiness factors; in 2012-2013, only 51.8% of students went on to four year
colleges. Students who are Black
or Hispanic have an even more difficult time succeeding at the school; while 90% of white students
graduated, only 60% of Black and 81% of Hispanic students did so.”
-Joseph Licata,
Lodi BOE President
Joe Licata used his failures as BOE president to
solicit hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars for the Boys and Girls
Club. What Joe Licata said above makes
the strongest case why he and his mother should be removed from all public
office. They severely hurt our education
system. They killed home values. They really failed the Hispanic and Black
families of Lodi. They failed the White
families. They failed everyone.
