Last night, the Mayor of Lodi approved more consulting fees for the President of the Lodi Board of Education.
Once again,
1) Bruce's administration produced ZERO meeting minutes ("Municipal Alliance") after they were requested through the Open Public Records Act. Minutes are required by law.
2) Bruce's administration produced ZERO "quarterly reports" after they were requested through OPRA. Licata signed invoices stating that he completed six quarterly reports.
3) Last month, Bruce stated that once he became "mayor", he directed Alan Spiniello to look into the Drug Alliance. A report was supposed to have been issued this month. It wasn't.
I have known Bruce a long time. I gave him the benefit of the doubt last month.
I am disappointed that he did not keep his word. And I am disappointed that he approved another payment to Joe Licata.
Joe Licata signed Bruce's current contract. And he will sign a new one this summer.
That must be the reason why Bruce continues to protect the Licatas instead of doing what's right.
One hand washes the other...in Lodi tax dollars.
