Every year, this administration plasters THEIR OWN
NAMES on mugs and other gifts. They
hand them out before Christmas and present them as their own.
Their names don’t belong on them. These expenses are line items in Lodi’s
annual budget and paid for 100% with borough tax dollars. A few members of the Lodi Seniors told me
this week that they believed the mugs and other gifts were paid for by the politicians
themselves because their names were all over them.
Last year, Marc stated at a public meeting that he
never discloses that the gifts with his name on them are paid for with tax dollars. He justifies this self-promotion by saying a
county clerk engages in the same bad behavior.
There has been a pattern of self-promotion and deception
by Marc Schrieks. Before I began
requesting bills, Marc Schrieks was
voting ‘yes’ to issue borough checks to himself for food reimbursement. Apparently, Marc Schrieks would show up to
events and pretend he was treating people to food. People would thank him. Then he would have the borough pay him directly
for the expense.
