The Comptroller's Office releases these reports showing public corruption and theft of public funds. Yet nobody is indicted and nobody pays back the money illegally obtained. So the Comptroller's Office points out the obvious after 5 years of "investigating" and then does not hold corrupt public officials accountable. That is nothing to celebrate.
The New Jersey Comptroller's Office opened an investigation into Lodi Borough Hall in April 2014. It found many serious abuses and took immediate action. It hasn't released its report on Lodi yet (almost 7 years later). Maybe Phil Murphy covered this up like he covers up all the other corruption from Lodi.
