Tony Luna Retired in 2015. He Claims He Was Borough Manager for 11 Years. The Lodi Taxpayers are Still Making Monthly Payments for His Health Insurance 9 Years After Retirement.
Lodi Mayor Scott Luna's Father, Tony Luna, was secretly handed a "lifetime benefit" not available to current Lodi retirees. The Lodi Mayor and Council acknowledge that Tony Luna never met 25 years of employment by the Borough of Lodi.
The Lodi Mayor and Council hid Tony Luna's health insurance payments from the public by not listing them on the monthly bills with other special "lifetime" health insurance recipients like Debra Ciliento, Judy Paladino, etc.

take it upon himself to pay more in Lodi school taxes. There is nothing preventing him from paying
more than his tax bill requires. In
fact, I think it would be a noble idea for him to donate his public pension to
Lodi’s school tax levy. There is no law
preventing it. As of 2021, he was receiving
an annual pension payment of $59,381.52 for his employment in the Lodi schools in which
he retired in 2006. It’s time for John
Cannizzaro to pay his fair share. These phony tax and spend liberals (and in Lodi’s case: tax and steal liberals) love
spending others money but never their own. John Cannizzaro has been getting away with murder his entire life.

In 2019, Nancy Cardone Sent Out a Campaign Mailer Insulting Board Members that Worked Very Hard to Reduce Lodi Taxes.

Since 2019, the increases in State Aid for the Lodi Schools have been twofold and threefold the increases written about by Nancy Cardone. Yet, Nancy Cardone hasn't lowered taxes once. In fact, she is working very hard to increase taxes tomorrow night.
If, according to Nancy, the increases in State Aid were solely credited for the tax reductions for Lodi from 2017 thru 2019, why haven't Lodi school taxes been reduced once since 2019? Can Nancy explain?
Nancy Cardone will tell any lie, mislead, and deceive any chance she gets.
Nancy Cardone is a very disrespectful person but she is especially disrespectful to the Lodi taxpayers. She has pure disdain for all working class people and anyone that earns an honest living. She works very hard to hurt the very people paying her family's salaries.
How can anyone vote to raise taxes with the millions of additional State Aid pouring in?
Nancy Cardone would rather burn millions of dollars on her family's excessive raises, extremely overpaid interims (that don't show up to work but spew a lot of dishonest spending propaganda), moving elections to suppress voter turnout, Matthew Giacobbe, and other nonsense before anything is given back to the Lodi tax taxpayers.
From 2017 thru 2019, new projects were funded and there were large surpluses while taxes were reduced. Budgets were still greatly padded even with the tax reductions.
Unfortunately, the current board majority is led by a self-serving politician that uses our Board of Education to secure millions in compensation for her family. And that is the real reason why Lodi taxes have not been reduced.
