Capizzi's BOE is trying to pay Licata’s attorney with tax dollars…

“Since the District has a $5,000 deductible, we have asked Mr. Nirenberg to send his bills directly to you with a second copy to us, until the deductible is met.”

–New Jersey School Insurance Group, March 8 2016

I had to fill out an OPRA request to find out if the Board’s insurance provider would be paying for Licata’s attorney regarding an ethics complaint.

The insurance provider told Capizzi that the Board has a $5,000 deductible so attorney bills would be sent directly to Lodi.

How dare the corrupt BOE try to use Lodi tax dollars to defend Joe Licata’s unethical behavior.

If Joe Licata wasn’t unethical, he wouldn’t need an attorney.  I filed a complaint and responsive brief without an attorneyLicata should have provided an answer without one.  And if he desperately needs an attorney, he should use his own money.

The entire Board should be ashamed of themselves.  Jobs for family members trump any form of ethics or professional code of conduct

Did Marc Capizzi ask the insurance provider if they would cover the legal costs for Licata to file a counter-claim against me?  Please read the bottom of page 1.
