Lodi Payroll and Other Bills Show the Cost for April Elections is Higher than What the County Clerk's Office is Providing to the Papers.

There are many election expenses bore by the Lodi taxpayers beyond what the town pays the County.

The Lodi Mayor and Council Placed in One of the Gary Paparozzi's "Planner" Agreements that Paparozzi Would Be Paid $75,000 to Upgrade Tax Maps. They Paid Paparozzi $40,000 Beyond. And His Invoices are Complete Joke. Lodi Clearly Doesn’t Have an Independent Auditor with Paparozzi's Extremely Close Friend, Frank DiMaria.

Gary Paparozzi is an “employee” of Lodi receiving an annual salary of $40,000.08.

Gary Paparozzi receives a noncompetitive contract each July 1^st from the Lodi Mayor and Council to be “Planner”. Since January 1, 2022, Gary Paparozzi was paid $173,080 for whatever he supposedly does with the Zoning and Planning Boards.

On July 1, 2022, the Lodi Mayor and Council added $75,000 to Gary’s agreement (beyond the $11,000 figure listed each year) to upgrade tax maps. None of Gary’s agreements before or after listed any payments for tax maps.

Gary Paparozzi was paid $40,000 beyond any agreement to update tax maps.

Paparozzi’s invoices do not list any hours.  Most list nothing at all.

The Mayor and Council are calling Paparozzi the “Planner" on the monthly bills.  They are calling Paparozzi a “Senior Planning Aid”  on payroll.  Is Paparozzi the senior aid to himself? 

They said they were paying Paparozzi $75,000 to update tax maps but then paid him $115,000. They said he would be done by 2023 but they are still paying him for 2025.

All lines are blurred and the Lodi taxpayers are being robbed.

Below are all the links I received for the most recent OPRA request into Gary Paparzzi.  No evidence was provided to show that Gary Paparozzi provided a resume showing that he was qualified to upgrade tax maps.  No evidence was provided that any emergency ordinance was adopted by the Lodi mayor and council to pay for the Tax Map Upgrades (contradicting Marc Schrieks' letter to the County).  No evidence was provided that there was ever any advertisement seeking vendors to conduct tax map upgrades.

The Lodi Mayor and Council need to come clean with Lodi residents about what went wrong with Gary Paparozzi's tax maps and what happened to the revaluation.

The Bergen County Republican Organization Has Its Local Candidates Funded by the County Democrats...

The BCRO can't compete in County wide races because it doesn't want to compete. It is the controlled opposition. It is the second string Democrat Committee.

There is nothing conservative about fraudsters like Gary Paparozzi and Sharon Salvacion who run the Lodi Republican Committee. Or Frank DiMaria who sits on the Republican Committee with them and doesn't flag the fraud taking place in Lodi Borough Hall.

Tony Luna had Gary Paparozzi take over the Lodi Republican Committee years ago so he can control both during the Christie years. Gary Paparozzi filled the committee with people like himself. People like Sharon Salvacion and Karen Viscana.

Gary Paparozzi did such a great job creating the second string Democrat Committee, he was appointed to a State Board by Phil Murphy. 

Any principled conservative would be repulsed by the Bergen County Republicans and especially the Lodi Republican Committee. They stand for nothing. They do nothing positive or productive. They help destroy BOEs and local governments by supporting the worst of the worst.

How is "Paparozzi Associates" Different from a Minneapolis Somali Day Care?

Lots of evidence exists showing that Gary Paparozzi and the Lodi Mayor Council had created some money laundering scheme where Lodi tax dollars were used to pay the bills for “Paparozzi Associates” (Gary Paparozzi's private business where he was making money during regular workdays on non-Borough related work).  Gary Paparozzi was funneling money back to the Lodi Mayor and Council through campaign contributions, dinners, limo rides, parties, and who knows what else.

Not one member of the Lodi Mayor and Council ever explained this arrangement:

Being a “Gary Paparozzi” was never present in the Zoning Office during regular business hours, were the Lodi taxpayers paying one “Gary Paparozzi” or two “Gary Paparozzis” for no show Borough positions with full-time salaries?  Lodi tax dollars were supporting how many employees in Gary Paparozzi’s private business?

Lodi’s Borough Manager Marc Schrieks, CFO Sheri Luna, Auditor Frank DiMaria, the Mayor and Council must clearly explain the Gary Paparozzi arrangement and provide the residents of Lodi a clear of accounting of how the Paparozzi money was allocated and where it went. Not just for supposed "Planning" and Zoning Office employment.  But also, for that "Tax Map" windfall of tax dollars. Release attendance records, sign in sheets, etc. It’s public funds.  Not their private family business.

The Lodi Mayor and Council hand Gary Paparozzi a non-competitive professional service contract each July to be Borough Planner:

The Lodi Mayor and Council also hired Gary Paparozzi as a full-time borough employee and are using the Civil Service Title “Senior Planning Aid”:

So, Gary Paparozzi is the Planner.  And he is a Senior Planning Aid which you would think would be working under the Planner.  This makes a lot of sense.

Borough payroll lists Gary Paparozzi as an employee in the Zoning Office.

Fact:  Gary Paparozzi is working for other towns during the hours of the Lodi Zoning Office.

Marc Schrieks is the Borough Manager of Lodi.  He set this arrangement up for his former running mate who he spent 8 years on the council with.  Marc Schrieks took campaign contributions from Gary Paparozzi after Paparozzi was thrown out of office.  Marc Schrieks is required to review Gary Paparozzi’s attendance records, contracts, and payments.  Marc Schrieks and Gary Paparozzi appear to be engaging in theft of time and theft of public funds.  I am not making a wild accusation.  OPRA records say that.

Nancy Cardone wants a really low turnout so she can turn around say Lodi Taxpayers are content with high taxes and Nepotism.

Don't let Nancy Cardone mock you any longer. Throw her out on Tuesday and then demand that our new board members move our Elections back to November. And undo all the damage done by Nancy Cardone.
