Repost: Lodi BOE's Spending Level Will Result in Double Digit Tax Increases in the Near Future Like You are Seeing Now in Paterson...

The difference between Lodi and Paterson is Lodi's school taxes account for over 60% of the property tax bill whereas Paterson's school taxes account for 20%. Lodi's increases will be much worse than Paterson's.  No amount of increased state aid can sustain the reckless spending you see in Paterson and Lodi.

Lodi taxpayers are being set up now for big tax hikes in upcoming years. Refer back to this post when you see it happening.

Your Recommendation of Elissa Mizzone Testa for Superior Court

Your Message

I couldn't be more disappointed in your recommendation of Elissa Mizzone Testa for Superior Court. As an ALJ, Testa engaged in the most dishonest and unethical behavior. She knowingly, and intentionally lied about me in a decision signed by her but written by NJEA attorney Gail Oxfeld. She interfered in my reelection for Lodi Board of Education. Her actions against me have been used over the last five years to target the free speech of BOE members all throughout New Jersey when that speech is not in line with the NJEA and Phil Murphy's destructive agenda. Your advocacy on behalf of Testa's appointment is contradictory to the reforms you espouse publicly. As a State Senator and attorney, I hope you carefully review the decision Kwapniewski v. Curioni and the complaint I submitted about Testa. I hope you research how that decision has been used to violate the constitutional rights of countless school board members throughout the state. I hope you research how it has been used to harass conservatives and stifle speech. And in the future, I hope you recommend honest judges. I hope you and other State senators can stand up for free speech and other constitutional rights currently under attack. Phil Murphy Elevated Dirty NJEA Administrative Law Judge, Elissa Mizzone Testa, to Superior Court (Passaic County) Because She Violated the Constitutional Rights of Those Critical of Phil Murphy and the NJEA…

In 2016, Christ Christie nominated Elissa Mizzone Testa for Administration Law Judge (along with a long list of other horrible appointments).

As ALJ, Elissa Mizzone Testa allowed NJEA Attorney Gail Oxfeld to write the Decision for her: Kwapniewski v Curioni.  That decision has been used over the last 5 years to harass and silence any reform minded, decent BOE members throughout New Jersey that don’t support Phil Murphy’s destructive indoctrination directives for our public schools.  Phil Murphy and the NJEA used Elissa Mizzone Testa to weaponize our state government to go after speech not agreeable to them.

In 2019, I had filed a judicial conduct complaint against Elissa Mizzone Testa for her abuses.

The Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct informed me that ALJs are not considered "Judges" and therefore they could not investigate Testa.  It advised me to provide my complaint to Testa's assignment judge. That assignment person told me to provide my complaint when I filed "Exceptions".  Nobody in the Phil Murphy administration ever acknowledged the complaint or addressed it one way or the other.

I am sure Elissa Mizzone Testa will find herself at the center of many controversies as Superior Court Judge in Passaic County because she has proven to be such unethical and dishonest.  And next time, she can be investigated by the Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct for her blatant abuses.

Scott Luna's Sister Was Named the CFO of Lodi and then The Lodi Mayor and Council Hired a Bunch of People to Do Her Job...

The Lodi Mayor's sister is a full-time employee of Paramus and receives other part-time positions in other towns via Luna's political activities.  Below is a recent financial disclosure statement.

The Lodi Mayor's sister is receiving a full-time salary form the Lodi taxpayers for very limited part-time work (her two weeks pay is listed below).  Since being named CFO, the Lodi mayor and council have been packing in "Financial Administration" with a bunch of new employees to perform the duties of the person they named CFO/Treasurer.

For Sean Spiller, "Democracy" is Stealing from Montclair and then Pleading the Fifth Over and Over Again....

Sean Spiller has a $500,000 ad buy because he still thinks he can be governor. What a joke!

Cleary Giacobbe Presentation: A Scripted Show by Calculating Sales People (Post Date: November 28, 2019)

When auditioning for public contracts, this firm comes with a full entourage.  They come to put on a show.  They look at your town’s demographics and make their sales pitch accordingly in a shameless manner.  In Lodi’s case, they brought up some of the poorest, worst performing districts that they represent as though Lodi should be happy to be placed in that category.  Matthew Giacobbe ended his presentation by referencing Vitamia’s to make it seem like he is familiar in some way with Lodi.

The firm boasts about how large it is and how they have people that specialize in all areas.  After reviewing the firm’s bills, one would think that they don’t have anyone that specializes in anything.  They have billed excessively for research on general, basic manners where the same information can be accessed through simple on-line searches.

The firm stated that their $165/rate was negotiable during one presentation.  When it came time to negotiate, I was told the attorney was on vacation in Italy.  Soon after, Matthew Giacobbe had the interim business administrator sign a contract with him on behalf of the district.  The contract was never presented to the board nor was it ever presented to the board president for a signature.

Lodi is on pace to go over budget this school year with legal costs.  It’s completely unnecessary. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
