Gary Paparozzi Filed a Lawsuit Claiming that He Was in a “Partnership Agreement” with Marcello Petruzzella (Paid $300,000 to Hold a 20% Interest).

This wasn’t the first real estate deal or LLC that involved Gary Paparozzi while he was being paid as Lodi’s “Planner”.  Gary Paparozzi should disclose every LLC and “Partnership Agreement” he has entered in the last 10 years.  He is required by law.  He violated State law by purposely omitting his business interests on all of his Financial Disclosure Statements.  Paparozzi did this to conceal his conflicts of interest.

Alan Spiniello should explain to Gary Paparozzi the seriousness of what is unfolding.

Alan Spiniello has gotten very rich off of the Lodi taxpayers.  Alan Spiniello lists the LLCs on his financial disclosure statements in which he held an interest.

Gary Paparozzi has gotten very rich off of the Lodi taxpayers.  Gary Paparozzi does NOT list the business organizations in which he held an interest.  The disclosure statement below is from April 2022 and covered the prior year for which Gary Paparozzi admitted in court filing that he paid $300,000 to hold a 20% interest.

In the last 10 years, how many Lodi projects has Gary Paparozzi held an interest?  How about Saddle Brook?  How about Garfield?  How about other Bergen County towns in which he clearly held an interest?  How many LLCs did he enter into “Partnership Agreements” without listing his name on registrations?

Crooked Gary Paparozzi Was in a Partnership With Marcello Petruzzella- the Same Person that He Was Getting Every Variance with Lodi Projects.

Today, Gary Paparozzi appeared in the Bergen Record.  He is suing Marcello Petruzella who was to be his partner in a development scheme in Paramus (they hide behind project specific LLCs to conceal their names and their conflicts of interest so who really knows how many projects Gary Paparozzi has partnered).  The Paramus Zoning Board of Adjustment denied their application in 2021 and Gary Paparozzi claims he didn’t get his whole $300,000 back from Marcello Petruzella.

Marcello Petruzella has appeared in blog posts about Gary Paparozzi dating back to 2014:

Lodi By The Numbers: The Rest of Lodi Deserves the Same Variances Now… (lodioverhaul.blogspot.com)

Lodi By The Numbers: PRIDE’s "Planner" has always sold out Lodi for his own personal financial gain… (lodioverhaul.blogspot.com)

'

Gary Paparozzi can casually throw around $300,000 towards get rich quick developments (using political connections and campaign contributions/bribes) because the Lodi mayor and council have given him access to unlimited Lodi tax dollars without any accountability or oversight:

Lodi By The Numbers: OPRA Response Confirms that Gary Pararozzi is Being Paid as a Full-Time Employee (“Senior Planning Aid”), While Simultaneously Being Paid by Lodi as “Borough Planner”. Nobody Can Provide any Records Showing any Accounting for His Work Schedule or What Time is Given to Each Position. Gary Paparozzi is Also Being Paid by Other Towns and Working in Other Towns During the Hours of the Lodi Zoning Office. (lodioverhaul.blogspot.com)

Shame on the useless State agencies that do nothing to address this horrible public corruption.

Email Submitted to All Board Members So They Can't Claim Ignorance to Their Violations: "Public Audits Are Public Records"

 ------ Original Message ------

To all Board Members:

I want to bring to your attention that public audits are public records. Audit findings and recommendations have never been redacted before:

Lodi By The Numbers: Never Once Have I Received an Audit for a Public Body Where Every Deficiency and Recommendation is Blacked Out. Your Lodi Board of Education Just Became the First. (lodioverhaul.blogspot.com)

It's very sad to see how much the Board has regressed in transparency and everything else in the last four years. Nancy Cardone was on the Board four years ago, so she is aware of what was offered to the public before she and others took it away. People that aren't doing any wrong would not go out of their way to hide public records. I can only imagine what else you are hiding from the public.

Ryan Curioni

Never Once Have I Received an Audit for a Public Body Where Every Deficiency and Recommendation is Blacked Out. Your Lodi Board of Education Just Became the First.

Many public bodies post all their audits on-line for the public to view.  The Lodi Board of Education does not.  I recently placed an OPRA request for a copy of the most recent audit.  The Board Office sent me an audit for June 30, 2022.  Every deficiency and recommendation were blacked out.  This is unacceptable.  I have been requesting audits from different government agencies for at least 10 years.  Never once have the findings and recommendations provided by a public audit been completely redacted. Link to the June 2022 audit:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OnP2vUGmL6SJIkg_2WrdUnddhEPvRaPD/view?usp=sharing

The Lodi Board Office is clearly in violation of the Open Public Records Act.  The letter they sent to me does NOT in any way justify them redacting a public audit.

In fact, the two cases they cited have NOTHING to do with public audits:

Education Law Center v. New Jersey Department of Education :: 2009 :: Supreme Court of New Jersey Decisions :: New Jersey Case Law :: New Jersey Law :: US Law :: Justia

I can easily go to an OPRA attorney and sue for the unredacted audit as well as attorney fees.  I am posting this today to show the residents of Lodi how their Lodi Board of Education President Nancy Cardone, her five Board puppets, the politician run Giacobbe firm, and Board Office Administration have no respect for Lodi residents or the law.  They continue their war on transparency and continue to enrich the Giacobbe attorneys for violating the law.

It is being reported that the Business Administrator has not been showing up to work.  The Giacobbe attorneys are likely writing these OPRA denial to access letters.  Residents throughout New Jersey that google Matthew Giacobbe’s name and land on this blog should demand that their BOEs and town councils terminate the Giacobbe firm for blatantly violating the Open Public Records Act and behaving in the most unprofessional and unethical manner.

All 9 Board Members should demand that public audits be made available to the public and anyone undermining public transparency and the law be removed.

April and May Elections Don't Only Suppress Voter Turnout. They Also Get Pat Licata an Additional $500/Day...

Scott Luna is on tape saying Patty Licata asked the Lodi Mayor and Council to move BOE Elections from November to April. When Patty Licata was on the council, she arranged for her son to receive a stipend for every Election.  All these years later, her son is still receiving all these additional payments to do who knows what.

Campaign Contributions Show that Vinny Martin is Listing Another Shared Business Interest Other Than "See Entertainment, 201 Secaucus Road"

Last year, Vinny Martin was giving money to James Tedesco and listing his employer as “All ATM LLC”.  Vinny Martin listed himself as the "BUSINESS OWNER".  Other campaign contributions coming out of Lodi addresses are listing “All ATM” at the address of “Satin Dolls”.

Vinny Martin has not listed “All ATM” on any of his financial disclosure statements posted by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs.  Vinny Martin just filed the below financial disclosure statement on April 17, 2023.
