In 2014, two investigators from the New Jersey Comptroller's Office spent a lot of time in Lodi. They found many serious violations and took actions to address them.
Nine years later, where's the Comptroller's Report for Lodi? Who stopped it's release? Did Phil Murphy personally intervene to stop it's release as another political favor to the Lodi politicians?
The LEA's inappropriate political activism in our schools and during work time led to something really horrible. At some point, someone must be held accountable for what took place. Nancy Cardone, John Cannizzaro, and others spend all their time at public meeting shamelessly pandering to Fran Santos and the other washed up LEA troublemakers. It's very unethical that they use their Board seats to publicly advocate for giving everything away to the same group that funded their political campaigns. It should come as no surprise that they would work to protect and cover-up for LEA activists. They are not serving students or protecting students.
Lodi deserves a report on everything that was distributed on student emails, who was involved, and if any actions were taken in response. How could this have happened? Why was it concealed from the public? Matthew Giacobbe shouldn't get rich by just covering everything up.

The Phil Murphy administration is pushing a sick agenda on the youngest students while pushing their parents out of the way.
The Hanover Board of Education passed a sensible policy to protect families.
The Phil Murphy administration has weaponized the Office of Attorney General to go after sensible Board Members instead of going after the most dangerous criminals.
Hanover is at a disadvantage in this fight because it lists Matthew Giacobbe as its Board Attorney. For years, Matthew Giacobbe has been implementing policies that strip all rights from parents as it allows schools to indoctrinate and abuse their children. I saw first-hand how Matthew Giacobbe guides Superintendents to sneak in these destructive policies when nobody is looking. He keeps the policies from members of the public and even from Board Members right up until the vote of passage.
Matthew Giacobbe has no principles. His decisions are not based in law. He takes different positions on the same issue based on who is paying. He undermines districts and gets rich doing so.
Matthew Giacobbe has State Senator Joseph Lagana as his law partner. Joseph Lagana is a mindless and robotic Phil Murphy puppet. Joseph Lagana has been part of the Phil Murphy movement to ruin our public schools with pornographic books and required sexualized lessons. Matthew Giacobbe hired Joseph Lagana for the sole purpose of influence peddling. Why isn’t Matthew Giacobbe using Joseph Lagana to influence anything positive? Why isn’t Matthew Giacobbe asking Joseph Lagana to speak out against Phil Murphy’s weaponization of the Office of Attorney General? Why isn’t Matthew Giacobbe asking Joseph Lagana to work on legislation protecting Board Members and districts from frivolous lawsuits drawn up by woke activists for the sole purpose to intimidate, bully, and harass?
The Giacobbe Firm is connected to Phil Murphy and State contracts. Matthew Giacobbe will not serve the interests of concerned Hanover families. Matthew Giacobbe will not protect students.
School districts would be better served by dropping
Matthew Giacobbe and replacing him with sensible, principled, and non-conflicted
school attorneys. Matthew Giacobbe can’t serve two
masters and he shouldn’t be double-dealing.
When Donald Scorzetti isn't spending hundreds of thousands of Lodi tax dollars on personal vendettas or parking our Borough vehicles down the shore, he is attending political fundraisers with/for Scott Luna.
Nancy Cardone is one of nine Board Members. She clearly committed multiple ethics violations by taking personal action without consulting with the rest of the Board.
c. I will confine my board action to
policy making, planning, and appraisal, and I will help to frame policies and
plans only after the board has consulted those who will be affected by them.
d. I will carry out my responsibility,
not to administer the schools, but, together with my fellow board members, to
see that they are well run.
e. I will recognize that authority
rests with the board of education and will make no personal promises nor take
any private action that may compromise the board.
f. I will refuse to surrender my independent judgment to special interest or partisan political groups or to use the schools for personal gain or for the gain of friends.
An OPRA response shows
that Nancy Cardone, Frank D’Amico, and Matthew Giacobbe were exchanging emails about the School Election move on April 25th which was only one day before
the Board of Education meeting. The Resolution
for the move never appeared on any meeting agenda. The Resolution was dropped on some Board Members
(who voted “No”) at the meeting without any prior notice.
An OPRA response
that I received for the emails was completely redacted. The written line was blacked out and the two attachments
were omitted.
All evidence shows that
Nancy Cardone was NOT working with the entire Board but was rather taking personal action. Matthew Giacobbe and Frank D’Amico
should have advised Nancy Cardone about her unethical behavior and should have
blocked her from running up legal bills on a Board matter that excluded the
consultation of the entire Board.
There was no notice
on any agenda. The OPRA response was
completely redacted. There is zero
transparency.
The Resolution was a
blatant lie.
There is evidence
that Nancy Cardone was also acting on the wishes of s political group as the
Lodi mayor and council are on audio tape stating that they wanted to move the
School Elections to April.
Nancy Cardone
committed multiple ethics violations and exhibited the worst behavior as she worked
so hard to suppress voter turnout on behalf of the most corrupt political and
special interest groups.
The five Board members
that went along with Nancy Cardone’s personal agenda are a disgrace. They are only taking up space and contributing
nothing positive. No independent
thought. No personal responsibility and
diligence.

This past week, I heard many people comment on how horribly Nancy Cardone behaved at the last Board of Education meeting- inciting chaos and dysfunction. She has to realize that more people tune in to the meetings other than just the LEA troublemakers. Anyone that cares about Lodi would never embarrass it in this manner.
This embarrassing behavior only adds to Lodi's already battered reputation. It drives families out of our schools and out of our town.
What example are Nancy Cardone and the other NJEA endorsed and funded Board members setting for the children?
It's time for Nancy Cardone to show some professionalism. She needs to set aside her toxic politics for once. She needs to take her politics out of Lodi High School and stop using students as political pawns. She needs to start serving the students and taxpayers and stop serving her own selfish interests.
