Nobody should forget how Matthew Giacobbe used public funds to go after the livelihoods of Wayne Police Officers and other public employees that didn’t want to be experimented on like guinea pigs.

Matthew Giacobbe was relentless in pushing the shots (neither safe nor effective) when there never was any legal basis.  When he had rulings against him, he appealed with vigor:

When Matthew Giacobbe found lawless, politically appointed judges to go along with him in his pursuit to destroy the lives of people that actually work for a living (unlike him), he celebrated and gloated with comments like these:

Science never dictated anything of such.  Matthew Giacobbe’s actions were never supported by law.  Matthew Giacobbe enriched himself by defying laws and science.  Matthew Giacobbe gives bad legal advice to run up legal bills.  Matthew Giacobbe creates controversies and chaos to run up legal bills.  Matthew Giacobbe is a really bad municipal and school attorney.  More and more people are seeing that every day.  

By the way, how much did Matthew Giacobbe bill the taxpayers of Wayne in his pursuit of harassing and endangering the health of Wayne’s public employees?  Did any Wayne residents bother to OPRA that information?

Ridgefield Mayor Anthony Suarez (Once Indicted on Federal Charges for Taking Bribes) Contributed to Josesph Lagana’s Campaign. Shortly After, Phil Murphy Nominated Suarez for Superior Court Judge. Joseph Lagana Would Have to Sign Off on that Appointment as a State Senator in Bergen County.

 

How can people expect to get justice in New Jersey courts when the judges are the worst New Jersey politicians?

Suarez was eventually acquitted but many things came out during the case that made him look really bad.  Suarez’s close associate and co-conspirator in the case, Vincent Tabbachino, was convicted and sentenced to 41 months in prison.

Alan Spiniello, “Cleary Giacobbe”, and “Florio” All Gave Thousands in Campaign Contributions to the Lodi Mayor and Council. Lodi Taxpayers are Now Overpaying Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars Each Year in Legal Bills to Fund Their Corrupt Pay-to-Play System.

Alan Spiniello receives at a minimum $236,774.76 in payments each year for part-time legal work.

“Cleary Giacobbe” and ‘Florio” are appearing on the monthly bills as “Special Labor Counsels”.  The Lodi mayor and council never explained a need for both and are no longer listing any descpriptions on the monthly bills as to which labor matters each firm is supposedly working on.

This is in addition to the outrageous legal bills we recently saw from Mary McDonnell for a “labor” matter manufactured by Donald Scorzetti and the Mayor and Council (click on link below):

Cleary Giacobbe should be ashamed of itself.  These forgivable government loans were supposed to be for small businesses. This greedy political firm that lists State Senator Joseph Lagana as Partner snatched between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000 for itself.

Cleary Giacobbe was billing the Lodi BOE more than ever during the covid crisis and the Lodi taxpayers suffered as a result.  How much money do these greedy politicians need?

All of the Lodi board of education members that just renewed the Giacobbe’s contract should be ashamed of themselves.  Politician run firms like Giacobbe don't belong in school districts.  They drain educational funds that should be going to underprivileged students and communities.  The numbers (bills) speak for themselves.


Was I right to call Cleary Giacobbe "a politician run law firm" last September when I said they should be removed for dishonesty? I think so.


Also on the list is "Florio", a big campaign contributor to the Lunas.  "Florio" is currently billing the Lodi taxpayers to represent the Mayor's father in his appeal regarding the following matter:
