But it is a little concerning that Doung Canter has a history of making large campaign contributions to Lodi’s current “Planner” Gary Paparozzi:

It is also concerning that Tony Luna began “working” for Joseph Marino shortly after retiring as Lodi Borough Manager:

Councilman Vincent Martin didn’t attend important meetings for the Main Street redevelopment.

Vinny Martin finds time to whine at BOE meetings but he can’t find time to attend his Planning Board meetings.

Side note:  many have been asking about a tax schedule for the two new businesses.  That information was not listed in the agreement.  Luna, Licata, Carafa, Cima, and Martin stated that $319,330 of taxes would be generated in the Summer of 2015.  That wasn’t true.

A few things to point out:

1)  One tax appeal (290 Garibaldi Ave) cost the Lodi taxpayers $154,700.55.

This administration made a big mistake by not reassessing Lodi during the last decade.  Most Bergen County towns had multiple town wide reassessments.  Lodi had none.  Residential property owners will suffer because of it.

2)  Vinny Martin abstained on the following bill.  Why?

During public meetings, Vinny Martin should state the specific bills he is abstaining on and give a reason why.
